  • XCELA HEALTH COPING WITH LOSS GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP is a six-week series held at various community locations that explore grief and the healing process in a caring and supportive environment. Call 1-877-771-1234 for registration/location/time.


  • Grief Share is a national program offered locally to support those going through the grieving process. This Grief Share Seminar/Support Group consists of a video seminar as well as discussion time about how the participants are dealing with the death of a loved one. Go to www.griefshare.org to find meeting locations that are in the area as well as dates/times for sessions.


  • GPS: God Provides Support is a support group for widows and widowers that understand what losing a spouse entails. It also provides steps to learn to find purpose and develop skills needed to be on your own. It meets every second Saturday of the month from 9 – 11 AM at Celebrate Life, 148 6 th Street, Clymer, PA.   • Hopeful Hearts: a subsidiary of the Visiting Nurses Associations of Indiana County (VNA), is a child-focused family anguish support core that provides counterpart support at no cost for all family members when someone tighten to a family has died. Families meet biweekly in a safe, caring and trusted environment. A pamphlet is included in this folder. For more information about this program call the VNA at (724) 463-6340.


  • PA TEARS FOUNDATION PREGNANCY AND INFANT LOSS SUPPORT GROUP meets virtually the 3rd Thurs of month from 7 to 8 PM. This group is for everyone who has suffered a loss of a baby.   • Pregnancy Loss Support Group provides support for families who are lamenting a death of their baby by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or baby death. Call (877) 771-1234.


  • Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Services are offered by Indiana Regional Medical Center’s Obstetric Unit for those grieving a neo-natal loss, miscarriage or tubal pregnancy Trained counselors support through discussion and are accessible for private consultations by appointment.
