William J Yackuboskey's Obituary

William J. Yackuboskey, age 57, of Homer City, (Black Lick Twp.) went home to his Lord Jesus to be reunited with his son, Nathan, on Sunday, October 19, 2014. He was born in 1957 in Indiana, to Anthony S. and Jessie M. Putt Yackuboskey. Bill graduated from Purchase Line High School in 1976. He was a member of the UMWA Local #1619, and the NRA. He was employed for the Helen Mining Co. for 12 years, and recently worked for the White Twp. Supervisors for 16 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. William is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathryn L. Johnson Yackuboskey, Homer City; by the following siblings - LaRue Cantanese, NY; Edwina Saddleberg, FL; Agnes Jarvie, PA; Marie Suwolitch and husband Dick, PA; Anthony Yackuboskey and wife Osia, PA; Michael Yackuboskey and wife Debi, PA; mother-in-law - Sylvia R. Johnson, PA; in-laws - James and Ryan Johnson, PA; Kimberly Fontanese, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his son - Nathan W. Yackuboskey in 2011, and by his father-in-law - George E. Johnson in 2013. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. and on Thursday from 1 to 3 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 3 P.M. with the Reverend Dr. Allan N. Campbell officiating. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the "Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation," P.O. Box 241, Harborcreek, PA 16421.
