William P. Niebauer's Obituary

William P. "Bill" Niebauer, 89, of Indiana, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at his home. He was born in 1925 to Anthony and Rose (Garhart) Niebauer in St. Lawrence, Cambria County. He was a retired truck driver for over 36 years with Quaker State Oil Co. He was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, and an active member of the Indiana Lions Club and also the Indiana VFW Post 1989 Honor Guard. Bill was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army. He is survived by two sons and three daughters - Robert W. Niebauer and wife Janice Elderton; Diana M. Onuscheck and husband William, Indiana; Donna J. Thomas and husband Randy, Indiana; Mary Ellen Neely and husband Jack, Bradford; Gary M. Niebauer and wife Karen, Homer City; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a sister Anna Kent, Altoona. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Niebauer in 2005; six brothers and a sister Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
