Obituary

William Gregg, age 53, of Indiana died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his home. He was born in 1957 in Pittsburgh to James J. and Nancy J. Emmett Gregg. Mr. Gregg was a member of St. Thomas More University Parish, Indiana, PA Independent Oil and Gas Assoc., Marcellus Shale Collition, BPOElks, and FOEagles. Bill graduated in 1980 with a degree in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He began his career by working for Halliburton for seven years. He was owner and President of Interstate Gas which he started in 1987. He was also owner, Vice President, and Managing Partner of Northeast Energy since 1989 which now employs 150. William is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Ford Gregg, Indiana; two children, Amanda Miller and husband Derek, Wylie, TX; Patrick William, Indiana; one grandson, Liam Emmett Miller, two step-grandsons, Andy and Brett Miller, all of Wylie, TX; his mother of Pittsburgh; the following siblings, James, Jean Boback and husband Michael, Eileen Gregg, Diane Mangis and husband Robert, Debbie Pasa and husband Robert, all of Pittsbyrgh; Donna Drum and husband William North Huntingdon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends will be received on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:00 PM at St. Thomas Moore University Parish, Indiana.
