Wayne E. Adamson's Obituary

Wayne E. Adamson, age 84, of Creekside, died Thursday, 13, 2011 at St. Andrew's Village. He was born in 1927 in Washington Twp., to Charles and Grace Trusal Adamson. Mr. Adamson was a member of the Harmony Grove Lutheran Church, Five Points. He was employed as a machinist at FMC Syntron for many years, a part-time agent for Patron's Mutual for 45 years, and a self-employed farmer his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, farming, his beloved dog Holly, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wayne is survived by one daughter and three sons, Sandra Marsiglio and husband William, Blairsville; Kenneth W. and wife Cheryl, Mechanicsburg; James L., Jonesboro, TN; Timothy C. and special friend Cathy Henderson, Greensburg; two grandchildren, Jennifer M. Cole and husband Nathan, New Cumberland; Ryan K. Adamson and wife Stephanie, Collierville, TN; three great grandchildren, Grace L. and Willow M. Cole; Elizabeth K. "Ellie" Adamson; one sister Martha Smith, Heath, OH; two sisters-in-law, Britta Adamson, Home; Mary Adamson, Sagamore. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife Alphonsis Spence Adamson in 1999; and by the following siblings, LaRue Pruner, Beryl and Leonard Adamson. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 A.M. with his niece, the Rev. Sharon S. Waltenbaugh officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harmony Grove Lutheran Church, 1900 Rte. 119 Hwy N., Indiana, PA 15701.
