Virginia E. Reed, 86, of Indiana, died Monday, February 26, 2024, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Born on March 2, 1937, in Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Gordon A. and Grace Aileen (Pfeiffer) Malcolm.

Ginny was a member of the First Christian Church, where she served as church secretary for over 10 years. She was a member of the church Fidelis Ladies Class as well as the FOP Lodge #33 Auxiliary.

Ginny enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren's sporting events, as well as playing BINGO.

She is survived by one son and one daughter, Vicki (Harold) Wilson of Indiana and Samuel Reed of Howard, PA; grandchildren: Melanie (Rock) Martin of Indiana, Megan (Nick) Ringler of Lucernemines, Melissa (Mark) Novak of Meadville, and Olivia and Preston Reed of Howard, PA; great-grandchildren: Colton and Easton Ringler, Trevor Martin, and Owen and Audrey Novak; and brother Donald (Mary Ellen) Malcolm of Johnstown.

In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her husband Curtis L. Reed who passed away on February 11, 2019, and by her brothers Richard, Raymond and Russell Malcolm.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 29, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where additional visitation will be on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM with Pastor Tom Spiker officiating. Interment will take place in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
