Obituary

Virginia M. Druchniak, 90, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born in 1923 to Michael and Stella (Rotosky) Slenscak, in Sagamore. Virginia was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, and also the CD of A. She enjoyed crocheting, canning, baking cookies, making holiday meals for her family and friends and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include three sons and one daughter Ludwig and his wife Linda, Greensburg; David and his wife Pamela, Cannonsburg;; Randy and his wife Barbara, Pittsburgh; Margo McAdoo and husband Larry, Indiana; 11 grandchildren Tammy and Todd Shearer, Los Angles; Mitzy and Chris Myers, Hermitage; Amy Peer and her husband Thomas, NY; Danette Johnston, FL; Holly Gonos and husbnad Mike, Indiana; Michael Druchniak, Cannonsburg; Maria and Danielle Druchniak; Pittsburgh; Melissa Rosko and husband Mark, Homer City; Tiffany Fisher and husband Matt, Indiana; Daniel McAdoo and wife Sarah; Indiana; 16 great grandchildren; a sister Dolores Labay, Sagamore; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend Lisa. She was preceded in death by her parents husband Ludwig L Druchniak, in 1998, a son Dennis Druchniak, and a brother Marcus Slenscak. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas Federline officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 510 Pellis Road, Suite 203, Greensburg, PA 15601.
