Victoria Anne "Sissy" Boring, 74, of New Florence, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born on May 2, 1950, in Latrobe to the late John and Evelyn Irene (Ralston) Pavlik.

Sissy graduated from Derry High School in 1963, she then attended nursing training in Torrence State Hospital where she spent her career before her retirement. Sissy loved volunteering her time to different organizations, traveling and watching games shows.

Surviving Sissy to cherish her memory is her son Stephen K. (Rebecca S.) Boring, of Indiana; one sister Evelyn (Preston) Boarts; grandsons Chet and Reagan Boring; nieces Heather (Chris) Klingensmith, Misti Boarts, and Vicki Pavlik; a great nephew, Jackson Vukman, as well as her close friend, Karen Johnson.

Besides her parents, Sissy is preceded in death by her husband Edward R. Boring, a son Neal Boring, and a brother John "Tood" Pavlik.

Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM in the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, with Pastor James Sunseri officiating. Private burial will be held in Bethel Cemetery, Armagh.
