Obituary

V. Jean Bash, age 78, of Indiana, passed away Friday November 2, 2012 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born in1933 in Grant Twp., to Clyde and Olive North Russell. Mrs. Bash was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Glen Campbell. She was a graduate of the Marion Center Area High School, and the Practical Bible Institute, Binghamton, NY. She was a homemaker and was also self-employed as a day-care owner for many years. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, and scrapbooking. Jean is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth D. Bash, Indiana; four daughters,Deborah L. Bradstreet, Sayre; Evelyn M. Empfield and husband Rodney, Indiana; Janice L. Selkirk and husband John, Creekside; Beth Ann Petalino and husband Mark, Pittsburgh; 8 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one brother and two sisters, Robert Russell, North East; Emma Fender, Alger, MI; Beatrice Small and husband Robert, Cortland, OH; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters, Jack and James Russell, Elizabeth Yale, and June Keith. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 A.M. at the Calvary Bible Church, Glen Campbell, with the Rev. John Traxler officiating. Internment will be made in the East Mahoning Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
