December 20, 1935 – November 12, 2024
Thomas "Gus" Wilden, Jr, 88, of Marion Center, passed away peacefully at IRMC and into the hands of the Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1935, in Indiana to the late Thomas and Catherine (Swanlek) Wilden.
Gus graduated from Indiana High School and spent his career as a coal miner for R&P Coal Company and was a member of the UMWA Dist 2 Local 1412.

Gus enjoyed listening to polka music and enjoyed dancing with his wife. He enjoyed gardening, making sure his rows were straight and perfect. Being an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, he sometimes took losses worse than the coaches or players. He would like to be known as a family man, he loved spending time with his family and helping any of them in any way he could.
Gus enjoyed just dropping by to visit.

He is preceded in death by two brothers Richard and Jack Wilden as well as son-in-law Gary Martin. At Gus's request, all services were held privately, and burial was held in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
