Thomas R. St. Clair, age 63 of Shelocta, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at his home.
He was born in 1955 in Indiana to Kenneth H. and Joan B. Nibert St. Clair.
Tom was a member of the Shelocta Sportsman Club and the UMWA Local #488.
He was employed as a electrical Maintenance Mechanic for Kingsly Compression. He was also employed as a coal miner for R&P Coal Co. at Luzerne #6 coal mine.
He was a loving husband, father, and Pappy. Tom was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan and loved his dog Shelby. He was also a car enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Beverly Carnahan St. Clair, Shelocta; one son and one daughter, Nicole Hess and husband Steve, Wheeling, WV; Thomas St. Clair and fiancée Kimberly Reichert, Hanover; four grandchildren, Josh and Hailey Hess, Benji Seymour, and baby St. Clair coming soon. One sister and one brother, Kenneth St. Clair and wife Anne, Germantown, NC; Sandy Henry and husband Tom, Watertown, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws Donald and Dorothy Carnahan.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 12 noon to 4 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 4 P.M. with Pastor Dennis Marshall officiating. Interment will be private.
