Theresa Ann (Krug) Cole, 93, of Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. She was born on December 16, 1929, in Ashville, PA, Cambria County, to the late Herman and Matilda (Douglass) Krug.

Theresa was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish where she volunteered with the bereavement dinners and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She also volunteered with the Indiana County Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing and gardening.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 72 years, Harold Cole, whom she married on April 14, 1951; daughters Cathy (Tom) Bland of Oakmont; Ann Cole of San Diego, CA; sons Mark (Tammie) Cole of Jacksonville, FL and Andrew (Laurie) Cole of The Woodlands, TX; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Edgar Krug of Pittsburgh, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her sisters, Marian Krug, Jane Krug, Mary Bender, Sister Romaine Krug, I.H.M., Sister Franceline Krug, I.H.M., Sister Hermine Krug, I.H.M., Dorothy Conlon, and Helen Krug, as well as brothers Leo, Douglas, Robert, Francis, and Herman Krug.

Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 2-7PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11 AM with Father Paul Dressler, O.F.M Cap. as celebrant. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Private family burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
