Thelma L. Mentch's Obituary

Thelma L. Mentch, age 87, of Indiana, formerly of Penn Run, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Rose Haven Personnel Care Home, Indiana. She was born in 1928 in Armstrong Twp. to Paul A. and Florence A. Craig Campbell. Mrs. Mentch was a member of the Kenwood Church of the Nazerene, and had resided in Cherryhill Twp. since the late 1950's. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Thelma is survived by two children - Nancy L. Phillips and husband Larry, Indiana; James P. Mentch and wife Roberta, Indiana; four grandchildren - Melia Teska and husband Jared, Fort Mill, SC; Megan Phillips, Charlotte, NC; Jill Yoakam and husband Andy, Arlington, Va.; Michael Mentch, Charlotte, NC; two great grandchildren - Zoey and Daxton Teska, and one great granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ann Campbell, Indiana. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul M. Mentch in 2006, two brothers and one sister - A. Carlisle Campbell, J. Blair Campbell in WW II, Martha Hawk and husband Russell. Friends will be received on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11 A.M., with the Rev. Richard L. Cassel officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA, 850 Hospital Rd., Suite 3000, Indiana, PA 15701.
