Thelma J. Fabin's Obituary

Thelma J. Parrish Fabin, age 78, of Indiana passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born in 1936 in Pittsburgh, to Harry and Thelma Welsch Geiger. Mrs. Fabin was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent, and was a former member of the Graystone Presbyterian Church active in numerous Christian activities in Indiana and Kent. Thelma was employed by the R & P Coal Co. for 22 years in the geology department, and worked an additional 10 years as an administrative secretary with VNA. Surviving is her husband Edward Fabin, Indiana; two sons, John R. Parrish and wife Victoria, Houston, TX; Kevin L. Parrish and wife Sarah, Monroeville; seven grandchildren, Christy Miller and husband Jason; Corrie, Keenan and Colin Parrish, Jennifer Parrish, Matthew Parrish and wife Diane; Anthony Parrish and wife Lisa; two great grandchildren, Seth and Xavier Miller; three step-sons, Doug Fabin, Indiana; Gregory Fabin and wife Rita, Indiana; John Alan Fabin, Indiana; two grandsons and two granddaughters, Neal and Kyle Fabin, Brittany Hart and husband Damian, Sarah Fabin. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband Robert L. Parrish in 1996. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent, with the Rev. Fr. William Lechnar the celebrant. Private interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
