Susan Lyn Scott, 81, of Everett, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. She was born on December 18, 1940 in Altoona, PA to the late George W. and Geraldine (Clark) Hobson. Sue was a graduate of Altoona High School and Juniata College and earned a Masters Degree from Indiana University of PA. She was a music teacher early in her career and a guidance counselor for Central Cambria School District in Ebensburg until retirement. Sue enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, entertaining, visiting her children and grandchildren and outdoor activities like hiking and skiing. She and Gary, her husband of 36 years, travelled to all 50 states and enjoyed fishing in waters from Alaska to the Gulf of Mexico. She is survived by her husband E. Gary Scott, her brother Tom Hobson, her daughter Kelli, her son George, her stepchildren Kelly, Eric, and Beth, and their families inclusive of 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will be holding a private celebration of life ceremony. In lieu of flowers they ask that donations be made in Sue's name to the Bedford County Humane Society at 182 Bohn Rd, Bedford, PA 15522
