Steven R. Manning's Obituary

Steven R. Manning, age 65, of Indiana, died Friday, August 6, 2010 at his home. He was born in 1944 in to Russell and Norma Juleson Manning. Steve was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, Homer City. A veteran of the Viet Nam War, he served in the US Army. He was employed by Fisher Scientific in Indiana for more than 20 years before retirement. Additionally, he was an avid Steeler fan. Steven is survived by his daughter Johannah L. Manning and fiancee Michael Traynor, Smithton; by his brother Jeffrey Manning and wife Sherry, Pittsburgh; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife Barbara L. Scardigli Manning in 2009, and by his brother Jim Manning. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 12 noon to 2 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral will follow at 3 P.M. at the Victory Baptist Church, Homer City, with the Rev. Gary Alberding officiating. Private interment will be made in the Smicksburg Cemetery.
