Stephanie Marie Bash, age 63, of Shelocta, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at her home.

She was born in 1953 in Indiana to Steve Plavi and Helen Boucher.

Stephanie attended the West Lebanon Community Church. She enjoyed cooking, canning, flower and vegetable gardening, animals, especially her dog Buffy. She loved spending time with family.

Stephanie is survived by her husband Richard Bash, Shelocta; three daughters - Rebecca Markitell and fiance Ken, Shelocta; Vicky Hughes and husband Lonn, Indiana; Heather Bash, Shelocta; four grandchildren - Jonathan Hughes and wife Ashley, Troy Keller, Indiana; Cassandra Anderson and husband Chris, VA; Madison Hughes, Indiana; one great grandson - Liam Anderson, VA; her mother Helen Boucher of Indiana; her step-father Jim Boucher, Elderton; and the following siblings - Debbie Niemeier and husband Larry, NC; Mary Ann Lynn and husband Dave, Indiana; Steve Plavi and wife Carol, Indiana; Dave Plavi and girl friend Lorrie, Elderton; brothers-in-law - Bill Bash and wife Patty, Strongstown; Ken Bash, Shelocta; sister-in-law - Jackie Dinger and husband Gary, Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews. ughesH

She was preceded in death by her father, mother and father-in-law - Walter and Alta Bash, sister-in-law - Elma Bash.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
