Obituary

Shirley L. Leasure, 83, of Indiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was born in 1930 to Carrie Ling in Claysburg. Shirley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Clymer. She was formerly active in the Church choir, church care group and taught the children's Sunday School class for many years. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Randall P., Ebensburg; Richard A. and wife Deborah, Indiana; Rebecca J. Custer and husband Clayton, Greenville, SC; Barry T. and wife Lora, Matthews, NC; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her mother and her husband Robert L. Leasure in 1985. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral home, Indiana. Visitation will also be on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church, Clymer, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM. with Dr. Daryl Jeffers will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Calvary Baptist Academy, 11394 Rte. 286 Hwy E., Clymer, PA 15728.
