Sherry Lee Helman, age 67, of Indiana, died Monday, June 24, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born in 1951 in Preston County, West Virginia to Francis L. and Dorothy Marie (­­­Lazzelle) Wolfe. Sherry married Wilbur D. "Bud" Helman, Jr. in 1968.

Sherry enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Clymer Slovak Club and Clymer American Legion.

She is survived by her husband Wilbur D. "Bud" Helman Jr.; her children - Carrie Gaston, Wanda (Richard) Anderson, Helen (Bryan) Sheffar; her grandchildren - Cody (Jess Weaver) Henry, Austin Henry, Brady Sheffar, Bryanna Sheffar, Branden Gaston, Travis Gaston; her great granddaughter - Anabelle Henry; her brother - Francis L. (Bonnie Jean) Wolfe; her son-in-law - James Gaston; her sister-in-law - Patty Wolfe; family friends - Sean Lummus and Joy Byers; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings - Helen Jean Yonker, Joyce Ann Casteel, Randy Wolfe; her mother- and father- in-law - Carrie and Wilbur Helman Sr.; her brother-in-law John Caylor; and niece Sharon Caylor.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Becky Edwards officiating. Interment will be made in the Sample Run Cemetery in Clymer.
