Shane M. Long, age 30 of Clymer, died Wednesday at the Indiana Regional Medical Center .

He was born in 1986 in Indiana to Leonard C. and Angeline Cupples Long.

Shane was employed by Falcon Drilling and Ziegenfuss Drilling. He was a 2004 graduate of the Marion Center Area High School .

Shane was a fun loving and caring soul who will be sadly missed.

He is survived by two sons, Shane M. Long, Jr., Pittsburgh; and Soljier Long, Creekside; his parents Leonard and Donna Long, Glen Campbell; Angeline Long, Marion Center; four sisters and three brothers, Cherie DiMond-Hughes and husband Chad, Florida Keys; Crystal Long Vasquez and husband Frank, Clymer; Jacie Long, Glen Campbell; Melissa Long, Glen Campbell; Matthew DiMond and wife Kristin, New York; Richard Long, Glen Campbell; Edward DiMond, OR; and 12 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard C. Long, Sr., and Alethia Long.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday at 3 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, with the Rev. Richard Motzing officiating.
