Sandra Jeanette Brown-Eckenrode, 72, of Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, in IRMC. She was born on March 25, 1951, in Spangler, PA to the late Dalemont Weston, and Jeanette (Shepherd) Brown.

Sandra graduated from Northern Cambria High School and did secretarial work for MQS, at various power plants around the area for 30 years before her retirement. She was a member of Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, Indiana.

In her free time, Sandra enjoyed walking, cooking, and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her children Kristy Jo (Jeff Chronosky, Jr.) Forberger, of Indiana; Amy Jo (William Vann) Forberger, of Indiana; seven grandchildren, brother Dale L. (Angela) Brown of Virginia; and brother Mark D. Brown of Utah.

Besides her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by a daughter Erica J. Forberger-Ochs, a sister Joyce D. Brown-Smith, and nephews Harry Smith Jr., and Cary Smith.

At Sandra's request, all services will be private and have been entrusted to the care of the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
