Sally Jean (Worthing) Elder, 82, of Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, in St. Andrews Village, Indiana.

She was born on September 12, 1942, in Saxton, Bedford County, to the late Ray and Virginia (Ritchey) Worthing.

Sally graduated from Saxton Liberty High School in 1960; she worked for Indiana County in Domestics before her retirement. She attended Grace Church, enjoyed gardening and caring for her husband and family.

Surviving Sally is her husband Harvey C. Elder of Indiana, whom she married in 1960, children Harvey (Kelly) Elder of York, PA; Tammy (Sam) Williams, of Grove City, PA; grandchildren Jennifer (Nate) Miranda, Tommy Elder, Katelyn (Brandon) Hughes, Anna (Wyatt) Grimm, and Emily Williams, great grandchildren Jack Hughes, and twins Amelia and Adaline Grimm, as well as two sisters Audrey (Curt) McKnight, and Connie (Ronald) Baker.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by a sister Mila Hess and a brother John Worthing.

Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM in Grace Church, 50 South 7th Street, Indiana, PA 15701, with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Burial will be private for the family in St. Lukes Cemetery, Saxton PA.
