Obituary

S. Martha Frailey, 101, of Shelocta, entered into God's eternal care on Friday, March 23, 2012, at Rose Haven Personal Care Home. She was born September 29, 1910, in Armstrong Township, Indiana County, the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Campbell) Fouts. Martha was the widow of Lawrence P. Frailey to whom she married July 24, 1931. She was a lifetime member of the Shelocta Community Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Armstrong Grange. Her favorite hobbies were quilting and sewing. Surviving are her son, William and his wife, Charlotte, of Arizona; daughter-in-law, Jean Frailey, of Butler; 4 grandchildren, Susan Fox and husband, Evan, of Oreland, PA; Rev. Mark Frailey and wife, Marla, of Conneaut Lake, PA; Jeffrey Frailey, of Akron, OH; and Curtis Frailey and wife, Jennifer, of Arizona; and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dean Frailey; granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Frailey; and a brother, Charles Fouts. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Monday, March 26, 2012, at Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Inc., 500 Ben Franklin Road S., Indiana, with The Rev. Matthew Jones officiating. Viewing will be held from 10 11 am, Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shelocta Community Presbyterian Church, 182 S. Ridge Road, Shelocta, PA 15774.
