Ruth Arlene Zbur, age 89, of Indiana, died Monday, November 26, 2018 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born in 1929 in Indiana to Ellsworth J. and M. Grace (Adams) Lowman.

Arlene was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church, Indiana.

She was employed for many years in the bakery at Bi-Lo Market on Wayne Avenue, and as a sales clerk in Troutman's and McCrory's Department Stores.

Arlene enjoyed knitting and walking.

She is survived by her three sons Michael "Dan" and his wife Colleen; James A. and his wife Janice; and Edward P. and his wife Debra, all of Indiana; grandchildren - Heather Zbur Gundy and husband John; Holly Zbur Lightcap and husband Nathan; Shawn Zbur and wife Susan; Samantha Zbur; Jennifer Zbur Wolowski and husband William; Rebecca Zbur Thompson and husband Kyle; Justin Zbur; Lucas Zbur; Kacie Zbur Jones and husband Porter; and Zachary Zbur; great grandchildren Joel and Sara Letham; Kaylee, Emma and Aubrey Wolowski; Conner Thompson; Logan and Hayley Gundy; Jonathan Lightcap; Benjamin Jones; and the following siblings, Betty Louise Drotar; Raymond P. Lowman and wife Ruth; sister-in-laws Ethel Lowman, Lorraine Lowman and Sally Lowman; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mike Zbur in 2002, her brothers Joseph C., Ellsworth J., Robert L., Leonard E., and an infant brother.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 2 P.M. with the Reverend Ryan Mowen officiating. Private interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.
