Obituary for Ruth Ober Elliott Ruth Ober Elliott, 88, of Meyersdale, formerly of Luciusboro, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013. She was born in 1924 to Clifton L. and Agnes Mae (Weaver) in Green Twp, Indiana County. Ruth attended Luciusboro Wesleyan Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading. She is survived by a son, C. Edwin Ober and wife Kathleen, Homer City, a daughter, Murue Shultz and husband Bob, Meyersdale; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a brother William Ober, MI; a sister-in-law Myrtle Ober, Commodore. She is was preceded in death by parents, husband Murry Elliott in 1995, an infant sister Naomi, two sisters Margaret Shultz and Clara Williams, two brothers, Harry Ferguson and Raymond Ober. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Luciusboro Wesleyan Methodist Church, 16 Kanouff Street, Homer City, PA 15748, In care of Rev.
