Ruth R. Cronk, age 93, of Indiana , died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center .

She was born in 1923 in Cambria Co. to Nicholas J. and Bernadette Dumm Kline.

Mrs. Cronk was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana, and a member of the CD of A Court #339. She was also a member of the Indiana Education Assoc., and the PSEA.

Ruth was an 8 th grade math teacher at Indiana Junior High School for 25 years.

An avid Bridge player, she continued to play as a resident of Moorehead House. While at Moorehead House, she enjoyed Dominoes and Bingo. Additionally, she was an avid reader, and she enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

Surviving are seven children - Dr. James R. Cronk, Lansdale ; Judith Ann Sipos, Indiana ; Thomas C. Cronk, Shelocta; Linda J. Landesman and husband David, St. Louis, MO; Barbara R. Rulewich and husband Joseph, Hagerstown, MD; Donna J. Pike and husband Doug, Indiana; Timothy J. Cronk and wife Donna, St. Peters, MO; two grandchildren - Jessica Landesman and fiancée John DeLeon, Los Angeles, CA; Tucker Landesman and partner Vinicius de Oliviera, Rio De Janiero, Brazil; and her sister-in-law - Mary Kline, Nicktown; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Robert Cronk in 1983, and by the following siblings - Alfred, Duane, Louis, Earl, Paul, Jack, and Bernadette Kline.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
