Russel W. Altheide , Jr., age 73 , of Greensburg , formerly of Home, passed away Friday August 12, 2016 at his home.

He was born in 1943 in Indiana to Russel W. Altheide, Sr., and Ruth Davis Altheide.

Russel was a former member of the Presbyterian Church of Marion.

He was employed as a technician for Agway of Greensburg for 30 years and for Agway in Indiana for 10 years.

Russel loved to garden, travel, and camping.

Russel is survived by his wife Nadine L. Reefer Altheide, Greensburg; one daughter and one son, Lisa Nau and husband Thomas, Medina, OH; William R. Altheide, Greensburg; three grandchildren, Bret, Dylan, and Alexa Nau, Medina, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana , where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. R. Bruce Shannon officiating. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery .
