Obituary

Ronnie Ray Bradford, 63, of Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in 1951 to Robert and Mamie (Carter) Bradford in Fayetteville, TN. Ronnie was a member of the Smicksburg United Methodist Church. He was a Penn State Graduate. He was then employed by Mount Union School District where he was also a track coach and an assistant defensive line coordinator at Juniata College. After moving back to Indiana County, he worked for Marion Center School District as an instructional aide where he was also a Jr. High Assistant Football Coach. He enjoyed playing softball and was a member of the "Ding a Lings," was an avid sports fan, but most of all enjoyed watching his family play sports. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Linda G. Bradford, Indiana; four daughters - Jessica M. McLeod, and husband Jason, Medina, OH; Angela L. Horner and husband Dan, Yatesboro; Sharon K. Lightner and husband Rich, Dayton; Christina L. Perry, Creekside; nine grandchildren - Nick, Hannah, Emily, Zac, Courtney, RJ, Michael, Brittney, Melissa; two sisters, three brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Smicksburg United Methodist Church. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home of Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northern Ohio Chapter, 8001 Sweet Valley Drive, Suite 3, Valley View OH 44125, in honor of Hannah McLeod.
