Obituary

Ronald Scott Mutz, age 45, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Scott was born in 1966 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Stanley J. Mutz Jr. and Cynthia D. Riddle. He was a 1984 graduate of Indiana High School. Scott was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #222 in Clymer, the Indian FOE Lodge #1468 and various Sportsman's Clubs. He was employed as a truck driver and had recently worked for Northeast Energy an Wright-Knox Motor Lines. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, bowler and blood donor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a fantastic father; his children meant the world to him. Scott is survived by three children, Alexis Reecy, Harpers Ferry, WV, Vincent and Benjamin Mutz Penn Run; his fianc Nicole Dalesandro and her daughter Alyssa, Indiana; two sisters and one brother, Tracey Pitcock and husband Shawn, Winchester, VA; Christine Mutz, Harpers Ferry, WV; Stanley J. Mutz III, and wife Colleen, Homer City, Pennsylvania; former wife Beth Mutz, Penn Run; and numerous nieces and nephews. Uncle "Buck" will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday June 1, 2011, at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana from 2 to 4 P.M. where a memorial service will begin at 4 P.M. with the Rev. Fr. William Kiel officiating. A reception will immediately follow at the Indiana Moose Lodge.
