Obituary

Robert C. Simpson, age 94, of Indiana, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born in 1917 in East Mahoning Twp., to Roy L. and Evan Jane Harbridge Simpson. Robert was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Indiana. Mr. Simpson was a veteran of WW II, having served in the US Army. He was employed as a lineman for REA for 43 years before his retirement in 1983. Robert is survived by two sons and two daughters, Robert M. and wife Judy, Indiana; William L. amd wife Mila, Indiana; Rebecca E. Hershey; Bonnie L. Kurcsics and husband Frank, Indiana; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Earl L. and wife Evelyn, Marion Center; Margaret Pearce and husband Carlton, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife Lucile Neal Simpson, by brothers David W., C. Emerson, H. James, by his sister Mary Fulmer. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Indiana, on Wednesday, January 18 at 1 P.M. Interment will be made in the Gilgal Cemetery, Marion Center. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements.
