Robert C. Neese, age 89 of Home, died early Friday morning, October 18, 2019.  He was born February 8, 1930 in Ernest, PA to Faye Neal and Franklin Paul Neese.

Bob worked in the coal mining industry for 37 years, enjoyed hunting, carpentry, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son Robert P. and wife Bonnie (Mears) of Marion Center; three grandsons, Robert E. Neese, Marion Center, Michael P. Neese and wife Jessica, Home, and Matthew G. Neese, Home; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Gabriella Neese; brother Harold (Butch) Neese; and Bear his cherished companion.

Bob was pre-deceased by his loving wife Marlene on November 30, 2017, his parents Faye Neal and Franklin Paul Neese, sister Leonore Swanlek, and brothers Kenneth and Donald Neese.

A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:30 p.m.  at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, with the Rev. Carl White officiating.  Interment will be next to his wife, Marlene, at the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
