Obituary

Robert C. "Bo" Millen, 80, of Indiana, passed peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014 into his Heavenly home to live forever with His Lord and Savior. He was born in 1933 to H. Roy and Evelyn M. (Kerr) Millen in Parkwood. Bob attended Grace United Methodist Church. He retired from the Bell Telephone Company after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers of America. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a peacetime veteran serving in the United States Army. Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ellen Jane (Cover) Millen, Indiana; three daughters, Cindy Marie Downs and husband Hartley, Houston, TX; Connie Lee Campbell and husband Fred, Stanhope, NJ; Shirlee Kay Bodenhagen and husband John, Rock Springs, WY; three sons, Dale Kevin Millen and wife Annetta, Luzerne; Curtis Alan Millen and wife Beth, Greensboro, NC; Thomas Robert Millen and wife Beth Ann, Indiana; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Pauline Harvey, VA, and June Feulmer and husband John, Parkwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant grandson Jesse Edward Millen, and his father-in- law Jesse Knox Cover and mother-in-law Helen Mae (Howard) Cover. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Interment will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to Beacon Ridge Nursing Home, 1515 Wayne Ave, Indiana, PA 15701.
