Obituary

Robert L. Bell, age 68, of Homer City, (Brush Valley), went to be with his Lord on Monday June 9, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in 1946 in Indiana County to John and Flora George Bell. Bob was an active member of the Sovereign Grace Church, Indiana. He was also a member of the Indiana Co. Road Runners Club, and a former member of the Indiana Co. Home Builders Assoc. For a number of years he worked with a crew of men who were very special to him in his construction company. He went on to retire from the PA Dept. of Public Welfare after 21 years of service where he made many friendships that he valued highly. Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years Bonnie L. Nehrig Bell, Homer City; three daughters, Julie Gordon and husband Brad, Upper Malboro, MD; Donna Fulmer and husband Edward, Homer City; Christy Kinker, Armagh; five grandchildren, Devin Parris and husband Nick, Eric Knight, Brody Gordon, Gabrielle Barlak, and Ailie Kinker; one great grandson, Jones Parris. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday at 2 P.M. at the Sovereign Grace Church, Indiana, with Pastor Mark Altrogge officiating. Interment will be private.
