Obituary

Richard C. Silvis, 49, of Shelocta, passed away, Tuesday, October 25,2011 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born in 1962 to Robert C. and Margaret S. ( Martin) Silvis in Indiana. Richard was employed by Sandy Kay's, Indiana Regional Medical Center and Baptist Homes in Pittsburgh. He was known for his laughter, good sense of humor and being a hard worker. He enjoyed making crafts and spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother Margaret S. Silvis, Shelocta; two daughters Tristan Brewer and husband Levi, Indiana; Carrie Silvis, Indiana; a granddaughter Chloe Brewer, Indiana; two brothers, Rodney Silvis, James Silvis and a sister Sharon Sell, all of Shelocta. He was preceded in death by his father Robert C. Silvis and good friend Lynn Willoughby.
