Richard L. "Rick" Brown, age 72 of Homer City, formerly of Elderton, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home.

He was born in 1946 in Indiana to Emanuel "Paul" and Sarah "Sally" L. Irwin Brown.

Rick was employed as a mechanic for Smith Bus Co. for many years until his retirement.

Surviving is his wife of 18 years Cindy Marshall Blystone Brown, Homer City; one daughter Gretchen Ruggiero and husband Chris, Winter Garden, FL; Leroy Blystone, Jr., Newark, OH; Marshall Damin Blystone and wife Lisa, Dayton; four grandchildren, Logan Ruggiero, Sutton, Abbigale, and Alexa Blystone; one brother David Brown Sr. and wife Pat, Elderton; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Betty Bleakney and husband Donald, and a nephew Tim Bleakney.
