Pearl Jean Allshouse's Obituary

Pearl Jean Isenberg Allshouse, age 88 of Indiana, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at her home.

She was born in 1930 in White Twp. to Adam Henry and Pearl P. Fry Isenberg.

She worked at various jobs, but was most fond of being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother "Gigi".

Jean enjoyed traveling the world. She loved God and her family. Jean was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 73 years, A member of Trinity United Methodist Women, Happy Homemakers of Indiana, and AARP-Evergreen Chapter.

Surviving are four children - Timothy Allshouse and wife Janice, Indiana; Kathleen Fisher, Indiana; Christina O'Hara and husband Dave, Indiana; Lorraine O'Hara and husband Dan, Home; eight grandchildren - Jessica Allshouse Mickail and husband Ben, Megan Allshouse Pomputius and husband Dustin; Zachery Fisher and wife Maggie, Jordon Fisher and wife Katey, Ashley O'Hara and fiancé Tommy Wells, Bridget O'Hara and significant other Conner Ostruh, Tyler O'Hara and significant other Madison Duke, and Matthew O'Hara; eight great grandchildren - Jaden Mickail, Lecia Pomputius, Noah Blanchard, Jack Blanchard, Sam Blanchard, Caroline Fisher, Connor Fisher and Easton Ostruh.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Jesse E. Allshouse, Jr., whom she married on September 3, 1950, three brothers - Leroy N., Earl E., and Vincent I. Isenberg; nine sisters - Dorothy Krivonick, Anne Cook, Elsie Brown, Myrtle Ricupero, Mabel Koloskee, Ethel McClure, Ruth Barletta, Goldie Snyder and Mary Bash. Two nieces who were raised as sisters also preceded her in death, Irene Rising and Eleanor Sell.

Friends will be received on Friday from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.  Friends will also be received on Saturday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Greg Golden officiating. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery.
