Obituary

Patricia J. Smith, age 74, of McMurry, formerly of Indiana, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Paramount Senior Living in Peters Twp. She was born in 1938 in Indiana to Arthur and Sara Jean Stephens Painter. She was employed at Bruno's Resturant as a waitress in Indiana for over 30 years. Patty was a loving wife mother and grandmother and great grandmother. She resided in Indiana for most of her life before moving to McMurry in 2012. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her yard. Mrs. Smith is survived by four sons and one daughter, Michael W. Smith and wife Kathy, Morgantown, WV; Rodney L. Smith and wife Nancy, Ford City; Patricia Yackuboskey and husband James, McMurry; Gary L. Smith and wife Sheila, Orlando, FL; Bryan K. Smith and wife Karen, Home; 10 grandchildren, Megan Janet', Angie Jagerman, Elizabeth Smith, Nicole Cramer, Amanda Muir, James Yackuboskey, Jr., Andrew Yackuboskey, Adina Yackuboskey, Seneca Smith, Tonya Peterson; 14 great grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers, Donna Luinetti and husband William, TN; Betty Troup, Indiana; Sharon Stiles and husband Lynn, Homer City; Richard Painter and wife Sharon, Clarksburg; Daniel Painter, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Jacob Smith in 1986, by her son Paul Smith in 2000, one brother Arthur Painter, Jr. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Thursday, March 7, at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Ronald Sexton officiating. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. at 1100 Liberty Ave, Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
