Norinne C. Brown, age 93, of Indiana, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at her home.

She was born 1924 in Carrolltown to Nicholas C. and Cecelia R. Krug Luther.

Mrs. Brown was a member of the Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Indiana, and a former member of the Curry Run Reformed Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Women's Circle, Sunday School, Bible School, and the church kitchen.

Norinne was a homemaker and had also worked for King Leather, and as a cafeteria worker for the Indiana School District.

She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, quilting, and sewing. She enjoyed hosting her family and friends for food and fellowship.

She is survived by five daughters - Lois E. McNutt and husband Ronald, Shelocta; Linda K. Marshall and husband Thomas, Indiana; Donna M. Howard and husband Gerry, Shelocta; Mary M. Orr and husband Richard, "Mouse," Elderton; Joyce A. States and husband Michael, Windsor; 11 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frederick W. Brown in 2000, her son James in 1967 in Vietnam, and also by her aunt and uncle who helped to raise her, Grace and Kern Krug.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Douglas Snyder officiating. Interment will be at the Oakland Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Cash, the VNA/Hospice, Indiana Regional Medical Center staff, Citizens Ambulance Service, and especially her caregivers Shani and Angie.
