Nellie M. Filipovich's Obituary

Nellie M. Kucholick Filipovich, age 98, of Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at St. Andrew's Village. She was born in 1917 in Sayreville, NJ to John E. and Catherine Szot Kucholick. Mrs. Filipovich was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, and the Blessed Mother Association. She was a homemaker and had resided in White Twp. since 1971. Nellie is survived by two sons and one daughter - William J., Jr. and wife Polly, Indiana; Francis J. and wife Beverly, Clymer; Nancy Pentrack and husband David, Johnstown; six grandchildren - Billy, Amy, Stephen, Jason, Jessica, Christine Ann; great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William J. Filipovich in 2001; sisters - Stella Zaccaria, Mary Kucholick, Lottie Toth, brothers - John, Walter, and Stanley Kucholick. Friends will be received on Sunday from 3 to 6 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Federline, the celebrant. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard Learning Center, 300 Clairvaux Dr., Indiana, PA 15701.
