Nancy J. Smith, 82, of Marion Center , passed away Friday, August 26, 2016.

She was born in 1934 in Valier to William Stanley and Delsie (Kirkpatrick) Anderson.

Nancy retired from IUP where she worked in the housekeeping department. She was a member of Plumville Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children Darlene (Smith) Kubas and husband Tom, MA; Pamela (Smith) Kimmell, Beyer; Brenda (Smith) Edwards and husband Bucky, Beyer; William Smith, Jr. and wife Karen, MD; and a brother Tom S. Anderson, Plumville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; April (Marshall) Crawford and husband Keith, Joshua Kubas, Jessica Kubas, Paul Kimmell and wife Katrina, Misty (Kimmell) Mackey and husband David, Christopher Edwards and girlfriend Mallory, Alicia (Edwards) Lewis and husband Larry, Zachery Smith, Andrew Smith, Martina Vernon, and by six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the following siblings, Irene (Anderson ) Davis , Martha ( Anderson ) Latina , Ralph Anderson, Dale Anderson, Howard Anderson, John Anderson, and her son-in-law Gary Marshall.

As per Nancy 's wishes there will be no visitation or services. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana has been entrusted with arrangements.
