Mildred P. Mccall's Obituary

Mildred Park McCall, age 86, of Marion Center, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born in 1928 in Marion Center, to Charles Robert and Martha Stewart Park. Mrs. McCall was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she was active with the United Methodist Women's Group, the Bell Choir, the church Choir, and as a Sunday School teacher. A resident of Marion Center for her entire life, she was employed by the Marion Center Bank in the loan department for 27 years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, tatting, and was an avid Marion Center High School basketball fan. Mildred is survived by her sister-in-law Connie McCall, Kittanning; and by the following nieces and nephews, Marian Johnson, Home; Susan Tarr and husband Raymond, Kittanning; Marcia McCall, Fort Wayne, IN; Larry McCall and wife Gladine, Warsaw, IN; Bonnie Wingard and husband John, Kittanning; Stephen McCall and wife Renee, Fort Wayne, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Lloyd C. McCall on March 15, 2000, by infant brother Harold, and by the following siblings, John S. Park who died during WW II, Robert Park, Frank Park, Caroline Spence, and Elizabeth Johnson. Friends will be received on Monday from 10 A.M. to 12 noon at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon with the Rev. Carl White officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Marion Center Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 197, Marion Center, PA 15759.
