Mildred R. (Elkin) Brady, age 89 of Smicksburg, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Indiana .

She was born in 1927 in S. Mahoning Twp. to John and LaRue Good Elkin.

Mrs. Brady was a member of the Plumville Presbyterian Church.

A resident of S. Mahoning Twp. her entire life she was a homemaker. Mildred was also a representative for the Avon Co. for over 30 years.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter and one son - Bonnie Brady King and husband Richard , Indiana ; Barry P. Brady and fiancé Kim Dixon, Home; one grandson - Shane King , Indiana ; two sisters - Bernice Rankin and husband Jim, Saxonburg; Bulah Waltemire, Bedford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wendell C. Brady in 1993, two sons - Ronald in 1977, Donald in 2014, and the following siblings - Ray, Leroy, Stanley, Clifford, Lewis, and Wade Elkin.

Friends will be received on Friday from 1:30 to 4:30 and 6:00 to 9:00 P. M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Plumville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Drew Himes and Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Interment will be made in the Smicksburg Cemetery .
