Michael "Mitch" Yonitch, age 81, of Indiana, died Monday, April 30, 2018 at his home.

He was born in 1937 in Washington, PA, to John and Martha Baltic Yonitch.

Mr. Yonitch was a member of the BPOE Lodge #931 and a former member of the Teamsters Union.

Mitch was a truck driver for 40 years for various companies.

He enjoyed gardening and gambling.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen M. "Peaches" "Pete" McClure Yonitch, Indiana; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mitch was preceded in death by his parents, and by the following siblings - Ann McDowell, Mildred Yancy, Irene Schafer, Stella Medvide, George, Walter "Chuck", and Adam Yonitch.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 1 P.M. with the Rev. Kathryn Ward Stear officiating. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery.
