Michael Joseph Talarovich , age 55, of Pittsburgh , passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital .

He was born 1960 in Indiana to Andrew Sr., and Katherine Rethi Talarovich.

Michael was a former member of St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Catholic Church, Homer City , and was currently a member of St. Elizabeth Orthodox Catholic Church, Woodstock , GA.

Following high school graduation he worked at Best Western in Indiana , and various hotels in Rhode Island , Vermont , New Hampshire , before settling in Georgia. He was a food and beverage manager. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping at Tionesta. He was a people person and was loved by everyone he met.

Michael is survived by his wife Racheal Nabita, Pittsburgh; one sister Kathryn Brackin and husband James, Indiana; a grandson Joshua Pereira, and great grandson Caleb John Pereira-Wright; a niece Heather Blose and husband Brent; a great nephew Aiden Hill; and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Andrew Stephen Talarovich, Jr. in June of 2015.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana , where a Panachida service will be held at 7 P.M. A funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 10 A.M. at St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Catholic Church, Homer City , with the Rev. Fr. Matthew Conjelko the celebrant. Interment will be made in the St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery, Munhall.
