Obituary

Michael T. Rebyanski, age 57, of Shelocta, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at his home. He was born in 1954 in Camp Le Jeune, NC, to Eugene and Flora Bozzarelli Rebyanski. Michael was a peace-time veteran of the US Army at Ft. Dix, NJ, and was a marksman with the M16. He was a volunteer with the Veteran's office for many years. He was employed as a coal miner for Tunnelton Mining for 15 years until his disability. A resident of Armstrong Twp. for the past 29 years, he enjoyed nature, helping people, sharing humor, making people laugh and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed attending his sons baseball games. Michael is survived by his wife Diane Pividori Rebyanski, Shelocta; two sons, Anthony and wife Amy, Indiana; Matthew, Shelocta; his mother of Apollo; two bothers, Salvatore and wife Connie, Apollo; Eugene, Sarver; two nieces, Nicole Rebyanski, Apollo; Taylor Rebyanski, Oakmont. He was preceded in death by his father in 2009. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M. with the Rev. Fr. Charles Esposito officiating. Interment will be private.
