Obituary

Mary Ella Swinehart, age 85, of Indiana, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born in 1927 in Indiana, to Logan J. and Mary Mildred Fields Burnheimer. Mrs. Swinehart attended the First Church of God. She owned Swinehart Accounting in Indiana for many years. Mary Ella is survived by her husband G. Eugene Swinehart, Indiana, whom she married June 30, 1950; one daughter and one son, Daniel E. Swinehart and wife Michelle, San Jose, CA; Virginia L. Allison and husband David, Indiana; three grandchildren, Matthew D. Allison and wife Carey, Indiana; Benjamin D. Allison and wife Erika, Kittanning; Jodi L. Bier and husband Joseph, Pittsburgh; two great grandchildren, Cooper D. and Hailey R. Allison; one brother, Ronald C. Burnheimer and wife Beth, Marion, NC; one sister, Ilene Blose and husband John, Marion Center; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, by two sisters and one brother, Leora Whipple, and infants Virginia and Gerald. Friends will be received on Saturday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. with the Rev. John Swanger officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA, 850 Hospital Rd., Suite 3000, Indiana, PA 15701, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
