Mary Lou (Henry) Stake, age 91 of Indiana, was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, January 28, 2019.

She was born in 1927 in Alverda to Harmon Merle and Erma Belle Giles Henry.

Mrs. Stake was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Indiana, where she served as President of the United Methodist Women, Choir member and Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Evergreen Garden Club, the New Century Club and the Twolick Valley Senior Center.

She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and was very active in church functions.

Mary Lou is survived by five daughters - Kathy Yerep (Stanley), Indiana; Rebecca Kaskan (Donald), Indiana; Mary Jane Mangino (Michael), Springdale; Amy Stake (Pamela), Fairfax VA; Laura Vitez (Mark), Salix; seven grandchildren - John Kaskan (Kelly); Justin Kaskan (Amanda); Alissa Yerep; Christina Yerep Jansure (TJ); Craig, Corey and Katie Vitez; three step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren ; two great step-grandchildren ; two great great step-grandchildren; one sister - Jean Williams, Johnstown; two sisters-in-law - Laura Wailes Henry, Indiana; Marge Henry, Twinsburg, OH; one brother-in-law - H. William Stewart, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Merle Stewart Stake in 1998, four sisters and four brothers - Lois Pesci, Marie Fiola, Jane Dole, Ethel Badiali, Joseph, Fred, Richard and Jack Henry and a grandson - Matthew John Yerep.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Friends will also be received on Saturday from 10 to 11 A.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Greg Golden officiating. Private interment will be made in the Cherryhill Progessive Brethern Cemetery.
