Obituary

Mary A. Lyons, age 59, formerly of Clarksburg, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Inova Alexandria Hospital, Alexandria, VA. She was born in 1952 in Latrobe, to Joseph Zaranek and Eleanor M. Curto Zaranek McCoy. Mary was a member of the St. Matthew's R. C. Church, Saltsburg. She was employed as a bank teller for the Laurel Bank for several years before her move to VA. Mary had a love of dogs and was very involved in the English Springer Rescue America. Mary is survived by one son Brian Lyons and wife Erin, Alexandria, VA; and by her life-long friend and cousin, Julie Gibson and husband Lawrence, Rutledge. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Willis S. McCoy, and her sister Barbara Zaranek. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial mass on March 10, 2012 at 10 A.M. at St. Matthew's R.C. Church, Saltsburg. The Rev. Fr. Salvator Lamendola will be the celebrant. Interment will be made in the Edgewood Cemetery. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, was entrusted with funeral arrangements.
