Mary R. George's Obituary

Mary R. George, age 92, of Indiana, passed away on July 26, 2015 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born in 1922 in Center Twp, to Lisle and Margaret Cooper Rhea. Mrs. George was a member of the Crete Presbyterian Church, where she was a former Sunday School teacher and a member of the Women's Missionary Society. Mary was a farm wife. She is survived by four daughters and one son - Nancy George Condron and husband Ernie, FL; Margaret Benamati, Pittsburgh; Shirley Cameron and husband Gary, Johnstown; Carl George and companion Sue Bernd, Indiana; Wanda Wilson, East Point, KY; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Dean Rhea, Indiana. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband William R. George, a son Kenneth George and wife Jean, son-in-law Jeffery Wilson, great grandson Nicholas Wilson, and the following siblings, Wallace Rhea, Alex Rhea, Alice Britton, John Rhea, and Frank Rhea. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Kathryn Ward Stear officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
