Mary A. "Aggie" (Sechler) Edgar, age 85 of Indiana, died on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Crystal Waters Personal Care Home, Home, PA.

She was born in 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA, to William B. and Mary (Ailes) Sechler.

Aggie graduated from Mount Mercy Academy in 1949 and from Carnegie Mellon University in 1953.

She volunteered with many local organizations including the American Cancer Society, the Indiana Historical Society, the Humane Society, Four Footed Friends, the Mental Health Association, Meals on Wheels, the Indiana Players, and the Human Relations Society.

Aggie is survived by her sons - Michael Edgar, Indiana, PA; Mark Edgar and wife June, Indiana, PA; grandchildren - Kyle, Zachary, Chase, and Hannah; and sister - Elizabeth "Betsy" Lammey and husband Alan, Manchester, CT.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Dr. Kenneth F. Edgar in 1991, her brother Bill and sister Peggy.

Aggie was an avid antique collector and loved her garage sales.

Aggie was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She was loved by all who were lucky enough to have met her. She will be dearly missed by all.

A gathering to celebrate her life will be announced in the near future.
